As with a lot of children today, my daughter is super sensitive. Hypersensitive, actually. I've been reading a lot about it, how to best parent it and how to manage it. One thing that I came across resonated with me - it was like she was born with a bag of rocks that she's constantly carrying around. Sometimes when I'd pick her up from child care, she'd just look exhausted. And not physically exhausted but emotionally defeated. It would constantly break my heart. Now, this is a whole new world...
